Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger revealed that he is still looking to add more new players to the squad this Summer.
“I look at who we buy in the media but at the moment we are not in the emergency case. We have the players we want.
“But we are open to any opportunity before the end of the transfer window to strengthen our defence in quallity and number.”
Arsenal are currently linked with Olympiakos star Kostas Manolas. Some reports suggest he has already agreed personal terms with the club and the move will be officially announced once they are done with the formalities.
The Gunners are also linked with Sami Khedira and William Carvalho. Reports suggest that Carvalho who was previously linked with Manchester United remains Arsenal’s main target, but experienced Khedira would be more appealing as he will cost much less than the Sporting star.
