Celtic FC News: According to a report from The Sun, Carlos Carvalhal has emerged as the new contender for the Celtic manager job.

The report also states that the Portuguese manager’s representatives have held talks with the Hoops.

The 53-year-old has managed several clubs throughout his career and is best known for his spells with Sheffield Wednesday and Swansea City.

The former Besiktas manager enjoyed success with the Owls as he led the side to Playoff finals in his first season.

His notable achievements with the Swans include the wins against Liverpool and Arsenal.

Lennon’s Park Head future is up in the air

The former Hibernian’s future at Park Head is still obscure despite his successful run.

However, his first defeat since taking the charge against their arch-rivals Rangers made the clubs to have a second thought about his future. Lennon has won eight games so far this season.
