Arsenal Transfer News

We all know that life is not always fair and same can said to be the case with Arsenal’s David Ospina. During his first season at north London, the Colombian international earned the right to be the club’s number one keeper and at the age of just 26 can surely still improve a lot. At times, it becomes difficult for goalkeepers moving to the Premier League and irrespective of that Ospina’s first season was quite impressive.

However, the Gunners have now signed Petr Cech, which has left Arsene Wenger with no choice other than to sell his current first choice keeper.

Ospina looks set to leave the Emirates with reports in Turkey stating that a deal has been agreed with Fenerbahce, though such speculations have now gone quiet.

Further, French newspaper L’Equipe named him as the best goalkeeper in the tournament, the only superstar playing in England at the moment, to get into their best eleven.

The defence consisted of Advincula of Peru and Gimenez, Godin and Pereira, all of Uruguay. Mascherano shared midfield with Aranguiz of Chile, with Paraguay’s Gonzalez, Messi, Vidal and Vargas up front.
