REPORT: Arsenal Superstar Set For A Shock Exit To Another Premier League Club

Arsenal keeper David Ospina has now admitted that he is strongly considering a move to join Merseyside club Everton in a recent interview with AS. The Colombian international spoke to the Madrid paper that the north London side have received an offer from The Toffees and though he wants to stay with the Gunners, he is considering his options this summer.

After capturing the number 1 spot from Polish keeper Wojciech Szczesny last January, the 26-year-old superstar proved to be a solid presence in front of goal.

He was quite impressive for Colombia at the Copa America as well though manager Arsene Wenger does not regard him as a long-term solution.

With the arrival of Petr Cech from Chelsea, things are now complicated and Ospina told AS, “As of today I’m still an Arsenal keeper, and I have four years left on my contract. Let’s see what happens.”

“Now an excellent keeper has arrived who I admire. During my holidays, I’m analysing a lot of things and then I’ll have a conversation with the manager.”

“For me it will be an honour to play alongside a keeper with that experience. A goalkeeper keeps learning every day.”

Talking about Everton’s interest in him, he said, “It’s a very competitive team, with a good coach who play good football. It’s something I’m considering and it’s a big possibility.”
