According to Metro, Arsenal are planning to sign Borussia Monchengladbach star Patrick Herrmann in the January transfer window. If signed, he will join the fellow Germans – Per Mertesacker, Lukas Podolski, Serge Gnabry and Mesut Ozil in the Arsenal squad.
Arsenal’s chief scout Steve Rowley is monitoring the 22-year old rising player closely and has recommended that the gunners should sign him in the next window. Patrick Herrmann is a quick, skilful and prolific winger who is touted as “the next Frank Ribery” by the media.
Liverpool and Barcelona are also interested in signing Patrick Herrmann. It is believed that a bid around £17million will tempt Monchengladbach to sell their star player.
