Arsenal have suffered yet another transfer blow as one of their target, Jackson Martinez is about extend his contract with his current club, FC Porto.
The Colombian international is on fire this season, scoring 15 goals already. He is known for his physical and energetic gameplay. He is also a good header of the ball.
Few weeks back, Jackson Martinez hinted that he would favor a move to Arsenal.
He said,
“I cheered for Arsenal when I was a kid – I love their style of play.
“It’s flowing and open with a lot of first touch passes. It would be suitable for a player like me.
“If I get a chance to play for a high level club like Arsenal I wouldn’t hesitate to accept it.”
But now, Porto’s top man seems to have changed his mind. In a recent interview, his agent Manso said,
“It is okay, I will travel to Porto next week to discuss the renewal. There is already an agreement to renew,”
