According to the latest reports Arsenal are very close to sign Barcelona winger Alexis Sanchez.
Surprisingly, the source of this news is a reliable one. According to Francois Pinet, who works for Tele Mundial, the Chilean is heading to Emirates this summer. He also mentioned that Southampton midfielder Schneiderlin is also targeted by the North London club. The combined transfer fee for both Sanchez and Schneiderlin is believed to be around £42million.

Sanchez had a great world cup but his team got eliminated in penalty shoot out against Brazil in the round of 16. The Pacey winger also had a good season with Barcelona, scoring 19 goals and 10 assists. But, the Chilean seems to be unhappy to play a second-fiddle role to irreplaceable Lionel Messi and may prefer moving out of the Catalan club this Summer.
Sanchez could be Arsenal’s marquee signing in this window. He has blistering pace and controlled dribbling skills. His finishing is not bad either. Arsenal need to act fast and sign him asap or else some other top clubs may enter the race and make the situation more complex for the gunners.
