This incident has created a shock wave amongst the referee’s. There has been several incidents in the past where a player would lose his cool and attack a referee, but this is the first time in a professional football match that the entire team brutally attacked a helpless referee. Apparently they didn’t hear about the respect the ref campaign.
There is not any clear information about this video, but it’s very hard to come by. Whilst we couldn’t find any more information about the teams, we did find out that the gunshots you can hear were fired by police in order to calm the situation and the match took place in some part of Saudi. It’s awful that things like this still happen in football.

Either FIFA has to ban football in these places or have to come up with a solution for such brutality.
