Real Madrid Legend Zinedine Zidane Set To Write Preliminary Coaching Exams This Year

Zinedine Zidane has always been inspired with the coaching role after he retired from football. Tipped to be a France National coach, Zidane has just stepped into the first steps towards his coaching dream. The French Maestro is set to write preliminary coaching exams this year. 

Zinedine Zidane to take first steps to becoming coach

The former world cup winning French captain has not backed out in admitting his desire to coach his national team and Zidane could start his dream at the very end of this year. In an interview with L’Equipe newspaper on Sunday, Zidane said:

“I’ll pass my coaching diplomas… we’ll see later on for the professional coaching licence,” he told L’Equipe.

“You have to start with something and I’ll start this year.”

He added of the possibility of coaching Les Bleus: “One day, why not coach this team?

“It’s never the time to speak about it because there are always coaches in place, but you asked me the question, and you got my answer.

“I’ve got lots of other things to do beforehand. We’ll see how it pans out later.”
