Rangers News: Steven Gerrard wants Ryan Kent at Ibrox for next season

The English winger is currently having an excellent loan spell at Ibrox from Liverpool.

Despite becoming a huge success in Scottish Premier League, the Reds are desperate for Kent to return to Anfield and have labeled a price tag of £10m. (h/t The Daily Record UK)

But the former Liverpool star wants the 22-year-old to continue his development in Glasgow.

“The players love having him here and playing with him. And Ryan’s having the time of his life.

Gerrard added that he is keenly waiting for Kent’s decision.

The winger has contributed to six goals and four assists this season in over 20 appearances. Notably, he scored the winning goal in Ibrox derby while his goal on Sunday ended in a losing cause.

In fact, Gerrard praised Kent as his best player in the Old Firm defeat on Sunday.

However, the winger has been handed with a suspension after evading punishment from his assault against Scott Brown.

Alfredo Morelos is also set to miss a handful of games for the Gers agter collecting his fifth red card on Sunday.

Last month, Aberdeen thrashed the Gers in the Scottish Cup quarter-finals ,which put an end to their Scottish Cup dreams.

Their recent slump since the turn of the month has allowed Celtic to move 13 points clear of them in league table.
