Rangers News: Steven Gerrard praises Glen Kamara ahead of Dundee clash

Rangers News: Steven Gerrard attended the press conference ahead of the clash between Rangers and Dundee United.

When asked about Brendan Rodgers moving to Leicester, the Gers manager replied he was made aware of the news and praised the former Liverpool boss.

Gerrard added that his side’s last outing against Dundee was a bitter experience and believes the Light Blues would respond well this time.

The Gers have picked up two thumping wins in their last two games and would want to keep the momentum afloat.

About Halliday and Kamara

The former Liverpool manager commented on Andy Halliday and Glen Kamara.

Kamara was acquired from Dundee in the January transfer window.

Gerrard further praised Halliday’s contribution to the Light Blues. He said the midfielder is a leader on and off the pitch and is currently having a tight groin.

The manager offered his thoughts on the St.Johnstone win as he was impressed by the performance of his players.

He then said that Alfredo Morelos would feature in tomorrow’s game while Halliday and Matt Polster aren’t guaranteed to be part of the side.

The Colombian striker was previously handed a three-match ban for violent conduct.

Ryan Kent speaks

Kent opened up about his relationship with Halliday as they both feel compatible on the field. He also added that playing with different left-backs would change their games.
