Gerrard updated the availability of the players as Jermaine Defoe and Kyle Laferty are still uncertain owing to the injuries. He added Connor Goldson is in a good shape and Mebude Dapo has also been included to the squad.

The Light Blue manager praised the youngster’s tendency and said he would be a prospect of Rangers soon.

He also expressed his concern about missing out on the primary strikers. Yet, he believes that the Gers have quality attacking players as alternatives.

Alfredo Morelos has been detained for three matches after his misconduct on the field while Defoe has been hampered with injury.
