Kent was signed on a season-long loan from Liverpool

Kent has been enjoying a great loan spell at Ibrox this season producing some excellent displays.

However, Jurgen Klopp is keen to have the winger return to Anfield next season, thus fixing a price tag of £10 million for the Light Blues. (h/t The Daily Record UK)

Steven Gerrard shares the sentiment and has expressed his desire to have the English prospect in Glasgow.

Kent has mentioned how he’s fallen in love with Glasgow and club’s hospitality.

I’ve re-found my love for the game, I probably missed that last year not playing as much. With the fans and everybody associated with Rangers Football Club, I’ve been really welcomed here and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it.

He also spoke about his compatibility with the club and lauded Gerrard’s playing style.

Having progressed through the Reds academy, Kent couldn’t get along with the clubs he played for earlier such as Coventry City, Bristol city and SC Freiburg.

Kent regained his form at Ibrox

The 22-year-old has found his feet and rhythm since stepping into Scottish shores.

The Ibrox faithful are delighted after hearing such promising words from their loanee.

Kent has scored 6 goals and four assists so far and two of the goals came against arch-rivals Celtic in Old Firm derby.

The forward’s goal and valuable performance couldn’t see the light of the day as the Light Blues ended up on the losing side on Sunday.

But still, Kent received plaudits for his display from the fans as well as his manager.
