Alfredo Morelos

The Colombian was sent off after he elbowed the Hoops skipper Scott Brown.

In fact, the Gers striker has accumulated five red cards thus far, a ridiculous stat for a striker.

Now, Morelos is expected to miss half of the remaining Gers games.

The 22-year-old has been the go-to-guy for the Light Blues this season scoring 29 goals across all competitions. And he is the serious contender to win the Premiership player of the season award.

Simultaneously, Andy Halliday will miss the next match game owing to the accumulation of red card yesterday and Ryan Kent faces suspension fears as well.

Kent, who is on loan from Liverpool, evaded from the officials after elbowing Brown. Now the SFA’s compliance officer is said to have looked into the incident and could provide the winger with a potential ban.

The defeat has allowed the Park Head side to extend a 13 point lead over the Light Blues.

Steven Gerrard

Moreover, Gerrard’s first season at Ibrox looks to end trophyless as they were eliminated from the Scottish Cup quarter-finals also.

Following the derby,  the former Liverpool insisted that his players were absolutely provoked by the opponent skipper.
