Rangers Highlights: Rangers prospect Dapo Mebude had a great game against Celtic in the Scottish Youth Cup final.
The U-18 Old Firm derby proved out to be another exciting game, as goals flourished from both ends at Hampden Park.
Steven Gerrard was present at the stands to witness the Ibrox’s young talents.
Mebude, who had represented Scotland’s U-19 team, scored a brilliant goal in the process.
Besides his goal, strikes from Ciaran Dickson and Nathan Young-Coombes were enough to see out the Hoops in a gripping 3-2 win.
Mebude, 17, signed his first professional contract with the Light Blues in 2018. He is committed to the club until 2021.
Following the derby win, Ibrox fans seem to have been impressed with the teenager’s display, as they lauded him on Twitter.
Born in London, Mebude is touted to be the next big thing for the Glasgow club. He is eligible to represent Nigeria at international levels.
And many fans cite him as someone who could succeed Colombian striker Alfredo Morelos in the first-team.
