Pulis to make no changes – Predicted 4-3-3 Middlesbrough line-up to face Millwall

Predicted Middlesbrough Line-up To Face Millwall In The EFL Championship

Middlesbrough are on a good run and have beaten two very good teams over the last two weeks. They face another strong club this week in the form of Millwall, who are pushing as hard as they can to get into those playoff positions.

Millwall, on the other hand, will want to come back strongly after their defeat to Fulham and will want to do well in this game.

Probable Middlesbrough XI

Manager: Tony Pulis

Formation: 4-3-3

Darren Randolph (GK)

A great team needs an excellent goalkeeper and Darren Randolph is one such player. Can be relied upon by his defenders and makes some excellent saves.

Ryan Shotton (RB)

Shotton is perfect for this Tony Pulis side. It brings back great memories of the Stoke side that forced it’s way into the Premier League. He always looks solid at right-back.

Daniel Ayala (CB)

Ayala had another excellent game against Derby and continued his great form this season. He nearly got on the scoresheet at one point as well.

Ben Gibson

Ben Gibson (CB)

Ben Gibson did not have the best of games against Derby but he did what he had to do. Will be looking to play better.

George Friend (LB)

Friend looked solid at left-back and has been good all season. Will be hoping for a clean sheet in this game.

Muhamed Besic (CM)

Besic finished off a very good team goal against Derby and also dominated the midfield. Was a class above the opposition.

Jonny Howson (on the ball)

Adam Clayton (CM)

Clayton had a decent game in central midfield against Derby but he needs to foul less and tackle more.

Jonny Howson (CM)

The midfielder had a good game in the middle of the park and was unlucky not to score. He tackled well and broke up the play excellently.

Stewart Downing (LW)

Downing has had better games than the one he had against Derby but will not be too sad as his team still won. Will want to create more from the left flank in his next game.

Adama Traore (on the ball)

Adama Traore (RW)

Traore has been absolutely fantastic for Middlesbrough this season and has been one of the stand-out attackers in the league. He got two great assists against Derby and often left their defenders for dead.

Britt Assombalonga (ST)

Grabbed a great goal against Derby despite the volition of the home fans. He looked strong, full of energy and will be looking to score some more goals while Gestede is out.
