PSG speedster Kylian Mbappe calls Julian Bernat his Scrappy-Doo on Instagram

Kylian Mbappe is known for making jokes and shared his latest one on Instagram

French International Kylian Mbappe, who recently finished 6th in the Ballon d’Or rankings, took to Instagram and poked fun on Juan Bernat.

The 20-year-old lifted the 2018 World Cup in Russia, and also enjoyed an exemplary last season with PSG scoring 33 goals in the league.

His performances have kept fans on their toes, his social media antics are nothing short of hilarious as well.

Mbappe’s fans are always quick to respond to his hilarity and earlier yesterday, they once again got a chance to do so.

The speedster made a fun collage of fellow Paris Saint-Germain teammate Juan Bernat and Scrappy-Doo from the childhood comics and cartoons.

The Spanish defender is seen wearing just shorts in a pose similar to the iconic dog in the picture.

Mbappe shared the image saying, “My Scrappy-Doo @juanbernat”

Juan Bernat and Kylian Mbappe share a very healthy friendship too. In a recent interview, when asked to choose the most complete player from PSG’s fab four, the Spanish left-back named Mbappe.

Mbappe, in the ongoing season, has also been in exemplary form scoring nine goals in Ligue 1 for the French giants.

The 20-year-old has also been on target for France and is one of the best in the world.

Bernat, for his part, has four assists to his name. The Spanish left-back’s ripped physique coupled with his shortish legs could have been a reason why Mbappe made the comparison.

Scrappy-Doo is a fighter

Scrappy-the iconic Great Dane puppy was created by Hanna-Barbera productions at a time when Scooby-Doo’s ratings were sinking.

In 1978, the ratings dipped so low that the show received cancellation threats from ABC.

Joe Barbera then created Scrappy as a “new element” to restore the network’s interest in the show.

Scrappy is one of the bravest members of Scooby’s gang, and often takes the villains on himself.

Scooby and Shaggy end up saving the pup and running back. Scrappy also believes he is extremely strong, something that Mbappe might have tried to highlight regarding Bernat too.
