PSG Defender Talks About Chelsea Transfer Ahead Of The Crucial Game

Chelsea’s former target Marquinhos stated that he would not leave a chance to make a move to the Premier League, while he spoke to the media a day before the clash with Chelsea later tonight.

While he is focused to cement his position in Laurent Blanc’s side he also stated that the English top flight’s competitive game is the main attraction for him in the English Premier League. There are no weak teams as it is one of the toughest football that the players play in the premier league.

“The Premier League is the number one best league in the world,”Marquinhos told Squawka. “It’s a very competitive football. There are not weak teams at all.

“I just like the league itself but I haven’t got an English side that I follow closely. It’d be fantastic to have this opportunity [to play in England] one day, but now I’m focused on PSG.”

The Blues were earlier looking out for the 21 year old for a move in January and also Everton’s John Stones was in their priority list. Although the Blues were not able to complete a deal as PSG held on to the player.

Further Marquinhos admitted that he is planning to review his contract with PSG for the summer.
