Manchester City will be out to regain some of their lost pride and get back on track for winning the title. Spurs are not going to let go so easily having climbed to the 2nd spot on the table with some difficulty.
Last time round it was a 4-1 win for Spurs and the Citizens were stunned but they had the incisive Kevin De Bruyne in attack supply then, which should be a bigger worry now, but lesser for the Spurs keeper, Hugo Lloris who will lead the side again.
Defence
The back four should feature Kieren Trippier after scoring the decisive strike against Watford. Toby and Wimmer will continue as the central defense pairing. Spurs don’t have a choice but the Austrian has put in a solid shift in Jan’s absence so far. Rose should take back his place in the side though Welsh international, Davies had a tremendous game against Watford.
Midfield
Dier and Dembele will be the central midfield pair. The duo compliment each other really well and have been a revelation this season. A pleasant surprise and one of the star turns in the side is Delle Alli who will continue playing behind the striker while Eriksen and Chadli should play on the flanks. The Dane has proven to be a star turn in recent games while Chadli’s shooting and picking out the gaps in defense will be key to opening up Manchester City.
Forward
Harry Kane is the obvious striker choice and he will look to work out the space and create pockets for himself and others to utilize. This is the decisive game of the season for Spurs and a win here will surely make them genuine contenders. But I only for see a hard fought 2-2 draw.
