Projected Manchester United XI vs Arsenal
Manchester United had one target for this season and that was to get Champions League football back to the club, Louis Van Gaal’s team might have stuttered at the start of the season but his philosophy has come through as the Red Devils are almost guaranteed Champions League football next season.
United next face Arsenal in the Premier League, Arsenal had defeated United in the FA Cup at Old Trafford and you can be sure that Manchester United would be looking to gain some sort of revenge also they would want to get into the top 3 to avoid playing a qualifying round for the Champions League. The best goalkeeper in the Premier League if not the world, had it not been for David, United would never have been close to the Champions League position.
Antonio Valencia
The Ecuadorian has been deployed as a right-back more this season than a winger and should continue in this role against Arsenal.

He might not be the best defender, but United do not really have a choice and have to play the Englishman against the Gunners.
Phil Jones
At one time considered to be the next big thing in the English set up, Jones’ career has not been the greatest at United but he could kick start his role as a centre back with a brilliant performance against Arsenal.

Luke Shaw might have been an extremely costly purchase, but he has not shown his true ability for the club yet, he still needs to get better before he can be considered as one of the best left-backs in the country.
Daley Blind
Daley Blind has been one of the most consistent performers for Manchester United this season and he should continue playing in the midfield for the Red Devils against Arsenal.
Juan Mata
A brilliant season for Juan Mata could have saved his career at United, Mata was all but certain of leaving the club at some point this season but he has been fantastic for United, especially in the second half of the season.

A decent first season at United but Herrera would need to pick up his form if he is to make a name at United.

Everyone thought that the Belgian’s career at United was over this season, but he has been used effectively by Louis Van Gaal this season, just punt the ball up to Fellaini.

Ashley Young has had a resurrection under Louis Van Gaal, his impressive performances for United could actually help him get back into the England team.

Rooney came off at half time against Crystal Palace last time around, but he should be fit enough to face Arsenal.
