Projected Manchester United Starting Line-up To Play Against Liverpool – Will Kagawa Be Included?

While Brendan Rodgers welcomes back Luis Suarez, David Moyes will have to cope up without Robin Van Persie. The Dutch International missed out the Manchester derby this Sunday due to a groin injury and the Guardian has reported that he will not be available for todays’ Capital One Clash as well.

Moyes do not expect to have the Dutchman available until this weekend’s Premier League encounter with West Bromwich Albion at the earliest. “I don’t think he will play on Wednesday,” said Moyes. “He will have an outside chance for Saturday.”

While United’s embarrassing defeat to their noisy neighbours has not settled amongst the Old Trafford faithfuls, Liverpool’s game will come as a crucial one for Moyes and Co as Capital One could be their realistic chance of winning a title this season.

As far as United’s team news in concerned, other casualties aside RVP are long term absentee Rafael along with Phil Jones who will miss out. Fellow defenders Ferdinand and Vidic might not be fielded together again as the duo has continuously played recently and with three games this week, you can expect Moyes to reshuffle  his back-line. The likes of Evans, Smalling might be fielded.

The million dollar question lies with Moyes’ midfield selection. We presume that Kagawa will be started today and so are the likes of Nani and Hernandez.

Here is a possible starting XI that Moyes might use today:
