Manchester United have a lot of work to do if they are to win their Europa League clash against Liverpool and more importantly progress into the next round. The side were well-beaten in the reverse fixture at Anfield and need to turnaround a two goal deficit if they want to continue their European adventure.
United were in action, unlike Liverpool, in the FA Cup during the weekend and were only able to manage a 1-1 draw against West Ham at home thanks to a late goal by French striker Anthony Martial.

The only reason why Manchester United are still in this tie is due to the Spanish goalkeeper who did extremely well to keep the goals conceded by the club down. De Gea would need to have another great game if United have any chance of making it through.

The Argentine really needs another good game as he slowly makes his return from injury and a chance to impress against Liverpool could be the way to go for him.

Morgan might be a tough combative midfielder that United need and him playing against Emre Can could well be a great battle worth watching out for in this game.

Schweinsteiger, has been another luxury signing that can’t seem to fit in at the club. Carrick should play in his absence.

What a waste of money it seems for Memphis Depay, the Dutch attacker needs to be at his best if United expect to qualify for the next round.

The Spaniard was extremely poor in the game against Liverpool but he should be fresh to take on Liverpool in the Europa League tie.

Lingard was just one of the few players who had a poor game at Anfield and he should be looking to make amends for the side in this game.
Anthony Martial
Martial was marshalled extremely well by the Liverpool defence but his speed and trickery needs to be unlocked if United need to score.
