Netherlands formation – 4-3-3
Stekelenburg (GK) – After having an awful time in goal for Everton, he would be hoping to have some change in fortunes against Belgium.
Brenet (RB) – Joshua Brenet should replace the injured Rick Karsdorp in the lineup. The PSV youngster gets a chance to gain some valuable International experience by playing in the friendly.
Bruma (CB) – He has been ever-present for the Oranje lately and should be a definite starter.
Van Dijk (CB) – He’s probably one of the best defenders in the world and will play a key part in any success that his side can manage to achieve in shutting down Belgium’s mercurial attack.
Blind (LB) – Man Utd played very well over the weekend and Blind was a crucial contributor. He should be able to bring in this form against Belgium and elevate his side.
Schaars (CDM) – With Kevin Strootman not being called up for the International duty, Schaars should replace him in the middle of the park.
Wijnaldum (CM) – Liverpool have been one of the best sides in the Premier League this season and Wijnaldum has been one of their best players. Hopefully, he will be able to replicate his domestic form to put in a key performance.
Klaassen (CM) – The Ajax captain should complete the midfield three, playing alongside the Liverpool star. He’ll be the threat throughout the match and Belgium need to keep him in check if they want to win.
Berghuis (RW) – An injury to Quincy Promes should allow 24-year old Berghuis to start the game. He’s got a bit of pace up his sleeve and can shoot from far.
Lens (LW) – Lens has been pretty impressive during his loan spell at Fenerbahce and should be able to carry his good form into this fixture as well.
Janssen (FW) – The 22-year-old isn’t exactly in the form of his life but due to a shortage of quality players at his position, he might start.
