Cavani City bound
Cavani with City links againLast night’s hat-trick hero Edison Cavani could move to the Etihad stadium as Manchester City boss looks to dump Mario Balotelli. The manager has a budget of £45m available for the striker. The Uruguayan could be a perfect replacement for Balotelli who recently had a spat with Mancini, and many of the City fans along with his manager are growing tired of Balotelli‘s antics.
Cavani is disillusioned at Napoli, and wants to move to a club where he can further his career and win trophies, and City seem to be that club. Also, the extra money won’t hurt.
Beckham coming home ?
Sam Allardyce is refusing to rule out a move to bring David Beckham, 37, to West Ham. Beckham is looking for a new club, and a return to his home town of London is on the cards. Big Sam still rates Becks, and thinks he and Carroll could form a good partnership, with Beckham showing last season in the MLS he has still ‘it’.
I hope this happens and I’m not alone
Robinho to stay with milan
After so much of speculation about the Brazilians future and talks about his potential move back to Brazil along with fellow country man Pato has falled apart . Talking about Robinho’s transfer story Galliani told the club’s official website:
“All negotiations to sell Robinho are over, he has been withdrawn from the market, He wanted to go back to Santos but neither Robinho nor Milan could reach a financial agreement with the Brazilian club.
“I called president (Silvio) Berlusconi to let him know and we are both happy that the player will stay. Robinho is happy too as he didn’t really want to leave Milan, but to return home. He has been withdrawn from the market and we are left with five strikers.”
