Andy Carroll (ST)
After grabbing the limelight last week for his incredible scissor-kick, Carroll continued to impress with an important double for West Ham in their 3-1 win against Middlesbrough. Opened the scoring for the Hammers with a powerful header just 9 minutes into the game, before grabbing his second from a tap-in, after Victor Valdes parried the ball into his feet.
Fernando Llorente (ST)
Swansea City’s hero on the day. Llorente hadn’t scored away from home this season on a single occasion and he couldn’t have picked a better day to set that record straight. A close-range thumping effort soon into the second period, followed by an even more powerful header to give his team a 2-0 lead, the Spaniard was brilliant for the Swans.
