Prediction: Premier League Top-4 For 2017/18 Season

The Premier League last season was intense as there were a number of clubs fighting for every position in the league. Chelsea managed to run away with the title, but not without their hiccups and surely, next season will be more interesting, given the influx of quality into the league this summer.

There will surely be teams from around the country, trying to finish as high as they can but the four positions that matter the most at the top of the table is pretty hard to predict. However, we here have tried our best to envisage the clubs that might finish in the top-4 come the end of the season.

The first and the most obvious option are the boys from London who lifted the league trophy last season. Antonio Conte is set to make some serious improvements to the squad. Though some of them might turn out to be a failure, they should have enough ammunition to see off most of the clubs to a place in the top-4 next season.

Manchester United

The Red Devils finished sixth in the points table last season but with Champions League football to look forward to, Jose Mourinho is sure to add some superstars to his squad at Old Trafford, who should be able to lift them up into the top-4 spots next season.

The Gunners missed out on a place in the top-4 narrowly last season but Arsene Wenger is busy and is getting deals done for some of his top transfer targets to help him achieve this feat next season. He is sure to use his experience to push Arsenal back into the top-4.

 Manchester City

Pep Guardiola has already made a couple of superb signings and now has one of the strongest squads in the league. He is sure to aim for the league title next season and a place in the top-4 should not really be too hard to achieve in the upcoming campaign.

The Contenders

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have also added some quality players to their attack and are sure to build on the other areas of the squad but they will have to fight on all four fronts and that pressure might be too much to handle, pushing them out of a place in the top-4. However, it is not something impossible and they can try hard and achieve it.

Mauricio Pochettino has done extremely well to keep the Spurs in the top-4 for the last 2 seasons but he will have to improve his squad immensely and show even better consistency next season if his side are to have a shot at finishing in the top-4.
