Predicted Spain Line Up To Face Romania – Both Chelsea And Manchester United Stars To Miss Out?

Share

Romania host Spain in a football friendly during the International break. Spain are preparing for the Euro 2016 competition and will hope to win the tournament unlike the 2014 World Cup which was taken up by Germany.

The Spanish side meet the Romanians for the 16th time with both sides having won five games each and played out a draw in the other five games. Spain need to be in top form if they are to do well in the summer and the last time these two countries met, it was the Romanian side which came out on top.

With formations and players requiring to gel quickly in the international break, we predict the starting line-up for the Spanish side.

Iker Casillas

De Gea played in the last game and Vicente Del Bosque might want to try out the Porto goalkeeper as he weighs up his options.

Mario Gaspar

The Villarreal right-back has had an incredible season so far for the Yellow submarines and could well get to play against Romania.

Nacho

A surprise in the defence but Nacho has become one of the most important players for Real Madrid and he could show just how important he could be for Spain also in this tie.

Gerard Pique

The Barcelona defender is someone who should be starting the game thanks to his experience and well he has had a good season for Barcelona so far.

Jordi Alba

Another Barcelona product, Jordi Alba is one of the fastest defenders out there and is incredible in attack as well but his defending isn’t the greatest and that could be something that Romania could exploit.

David Silva

The Manchester City player might not have had the best season so far but playing for Spain could unlock his ability and help the side to a win.

Koke

Atletico Madrid have a star in their hands and the midfielder should start this game for the national side as well.

Sergi Roberto

The Barcelona youngster is getting better with each game that takes place and maybe this could be his chance to shine for the national side.

Isco

Isco might not be having the best season for Real Madrid but he should get to start for Spain and this could be a chance for him to show what he is capable of doing.

Aritz Aduriz

The Athletic Bilbao striker might be old but he is banging in the goals and he should play in the starting XI in the friendly.

Alvaro Morata

The Juventus forward could be tried out ahead of Paco Alcacer as he seems to be a perfect foil for Aduriz.
