Morelos On The Left And Miller Up Front – Strongest 4-3-3 Rangers Lineup For The Game Against Ross County

Predicted Rangers Lineup To Face Ross County In The Scottish Premiership

There have been ups and downs since Rangers began buying in the summer, but their most recent performances have not really highlighted an improvement from last season and so a big performance and a result is needed ASAP.

Ross County away is never easy, but with the ambitions they have, Rangers can only afford to think about a) three points and b) a big, big scoreline. Pedro Caixinha currently favours the 4-3-3 formation with this squad and the team may line up something like this:

Manager: Pedro Caixinha

Formation: 4-3-3

GK – Wes Foderingham

Plenty thought that he may go to Nottingham Forest and reunite with Mark Warburton. However for now, he remains as the custodian for the Gers and can keep his place in the side.

RB – James Tavernier

He remains in great form with himself, joking and bantering on social media. However, he really needs to pick up his form defensively as he and Wallace attack with careless abandon.

CB – Fabio Cardoso

One of the positives of the season so far has been the all-Portuguese central defensive pairing. Cardoso and Alves likely to line up again.

CB – Bruno Alves

The veteran is so cool and calm that it can’t fail to rub off on other players. A vital cog.

LB – Lee Wallace

Similar to Tavernier; he attacks incredibly well but may need to be more circumspect here.

CM – Graham Dorrans

As expected, the former Norwich man has been excellent in the midfield and can dominate games like this one. The boss will be hoping for such a performance here.

Graham Dorrans

CM – Ryan Jack

Has settled in incredibly well. The former Aberdeen skipper is a rock in the middle of the park and has to cover defensively when the full-backs fly forward.

CM – Josh Windass

One of the surprises of the campaign, Windass was earmarked as someone who may leave this summer. But instead, he has become a major part of what is good about Rangers right now.

RW – Daniel Candeias

The winger is a good addition to the squad, but part of salt in Rangers’ wounds are the goals Martyn Waghorn is scoring at Ipswich. More is required from Candeias in the box.

Kenny Miller

LW – Alfredo Morelos

The Colombian definitely has talent but may need time to find his very best form in this division. Niko Kranjcar may push for a place in this position.

ST – Kenny Miller

The perennially fit and ready Miller simply keeps going like the Duracell bunny. Another start and perhaps another goal is on the cards here.
