Predicted Lineup: How Should Tottenham Lineup Against Watford?

Predicted Tottenham Lineup To Face Watford

This was the last fixture of 2015 for Spurs. They would not forget this game, especially after clinching 3 points with a controversial goal from Son in the dying moments of the match. The goal was deft and had an immense bit of skill but unfortunately for Watford, he wasn’t adjudged offside. Will Watford have a different outcome this time round at White Hart Lane? Tottenham fans would site hope not.

And so would Hugo Lloris as he will be the man looking to stop Ighalo & Co. from beating him and bulging the nylon behind him. The club captain kept a clean sheet against Norwich, a well earned one too and will be looking to add to that tally.

Walker had a good game against Norwich but Trippier who literally tore Watford apart on the right side in the reverse fixture will probably start this one. If Spurs are going to go with the same tactical shift to a 3 man back line like last time, Alderweireld and Wimmer will be the obvious central defense choices while Dier who plays at CDM will fill in as the 3rd CB when called upon. In LB should be Welsh international, Davies. Pochetino has rotated the wingbacks in almost every game and that trend should continue.

Dembele, Chadli, Eriksen and Lamela should all start. Alli who was adjudged as ill to play the second half of Norwich will probably be on the bench but is likely to start after a late fitness test, which would mean Belgian Chadli who is in red hot form will make way. Son who started at Norwich and was quite lively would probably not start as Lamela may be preferred. Both players scored against Watford last time. Will be interesting to see who gets the final call.

Up top? Harry Kane, the goal scoring machine, who has also not missed a single spot-kick this season in all competitions and luckily for Spurs, they’ve won quite a few this season. He should score and increase his goals for this season as he marches forward in the race for the golden boot.
