Projected Rangers’ XI To Face Dundee
Having secured a berth in the quarterfinals of the Scottish Cup with a 2-1 victory over Greenock Morton last weekend, Rangers return to Premiership action on Sunday as they visit Dens Park to face Dundee FC in the 25th round of the league season.
The Light Blues will be playing their first league game under caretaker manager Graeme Murty since Mark Warburton left earlier in the month, and how they fare in the remainder of the campaign will determine if they get to qualify for any of the 2 Europa League qualifying rounds or miss out of European football totally.
Rangers are currently 3rd in the table, 3 points behind 2nd placed Aberdeen and can’t afford to drop points any longer, having failed to provide runaway leaders Celtic enough competition, finding themselves 27 points behind Rodgers’ men with a 3rd of the campaign still to play.
Victory on Sunday against the Dark Blues will help Rangers have a chance at challenging Aberdeen for the runners-up spot and keep 4th placed Hearts away.

Formation : 4-3-3
GK – Foderingham
The 25-year-old goalkeeper has been a constant figure in Rangers goal this term and should be making his 25th league appearance of the season on Sunday.
LB – Wallace
The defender has missed just 2 league games this term and has been a solid member of Rangers backline, and has even weighed in 2 goals for his team.
Should be making his 23rd start of the season on Sunday.
CB – Hill
Has been in and out of the starting lineup this term but has appeared more regularly in recent times and could likely be making a start on Sunday.
CB – Rob Kiernan
Despite completing the 2-match ban he picked up late last year after getting dismissed, the former Watford defender hasn’t played the last few games, with Senderos taking his place, but that could change on Sunday.
RB – Tavernier
Remains a valuable member of the Rangers defence and attack due to his contributions on the flank, and has missed just one game this term.
Set to make another start on Sunday.
LM – Halliday
The Scottish winger has also been a regular for Rangers this term, playing 23 games thus far and scoring thrice.
Should be making an appearance on Sunday again.
CM – Holt
Has had to contend with Windass for playing time in the midfield position but he could be getting the nod for Sunday as he has started in the last 3 games.
RM – McKay
Continues being the first choice for the right midfield role having appeared in 23 league games so far, and is set to play his 24th on Sunday against Dundee.
LW – Miller
The Scottish winger has 6 goals in 19 league starts this season and is an assured starter for the clash against Dundee.
CF – Garner
The striker has only scored thrice in 19 games this term but is still a threat due to his work rate and should get a nod for Sunday’s game.
RW – Waghorn
The English winger is also a source of attacking threat for Rangers, scoring thrice in 8 starts and is likely to start for Sunday’s clash.
