Predicted Germany Line Up To Face England Featuring Liverpool And Arsenal Stars

Share

The German team go in to this match with a huge setback. Germany captain Bastian Schweinsteiger got injured in national training a couple of days back and coach Loew would have to find an ideal replacement to lead the team in to this match. Germany would be looking to field an impressive side and will be looking to build up to Euro 2016 based on the performances of this match. Let’s us look at a potential starting 11 based on the players forms and fitness in the recent matches.

Manuel Neuer

There is no question about this one. Arguably the best keeper in the world right now and has been in great form for quite a few seasons as well. He is always quick on the ball and his distribution skills are the best in the world for a goal keeper. He starts in any side without a shadow of doubt.

Jonas Hector

The FC Koln man has been in a fine run of form this season. Loew would be looking to start him and get him prepared for the upcoming Euros. Hector has created 47 chances this season and made 61 interceptions.

Shkodran Mustafi

The German has been one of the only players who seem to be performing well for Spanish Side Valencia. He has won 36 tackles this season and with the likes of Jerome Boateng being injured, the Valencia central defender looks to start in this match.

Mats Hummels

The Dortmund man seems to be back to his form again. This season he has looked a lot closer to his previous best and has left behind the dismal performances of last season. He boasts a good control over the ball and has good passing skills. Loew would be looking to him to lead the defence.

Emre Can

The Liverpool man has had impressive performance this season. Can is a versatile player and can be deployed as centre half, central midfielder and right full back. Loew would be looking to start him at the right back position though.

Toni Kroos

The Madrid man hasn’t had a great season in La Liga, but he would still get a place in the starting 11. Loew is a long time admirer of the central midfielder. Kroos would be looking to take this opportunity to cement his place for the upcoming Euros.

Sami Khedira

With Schweinsteiger injured, Loew would be turning to the Juventus man to start at the centre of the pitch. Khedira has had good performances for Juventus this season and will come in to this match with a rich vein of form.

Marco Reus

Reus has had a good run of form since returning from his latest injury. He looks to be amongst the goals again. After missing out on the 2014 World Cup, Reus would be looking to make his name in the International arena with the upcoming Euros and will be looking at this England match to give a good start to his German outing for this year.

Mesut Ozil

Absolutely no doubt about this one. The Arsenal midfielder has provided 18 assists for the current season in the EPL and looks to break the all-time record of 21 set up by Arsenal legend Their Henry. Ozil might be the star performer for Germany in the match against England.

Julian Draxler

The Wolfsburg man has recently hit form for the Bundesliga club. After having an average first half of the season, he looks to be more sharp and charismatic in the second half. Loew would be looking to build up on that by giving him a start against England.

Thomas Muller

Germany’s lethal weapon. He is undoubtedly one of the talents to look out for in the upcoming Euros. He is having a stellar of a season for Bayern Munich and has looked to be amongst goals too.
