Predicted Arsenal Lineup To Play Against Everton: Chambers Set To Continue At The Back, Flamini To Replace Arteta

Midfield:

Aaron Ramsey scored the late winner as Arsenal saw off a resilient Crystal Palace side on Saturday, and Ramsey’s sparkling form may well force Arsene Wenger to start Mesut Ozil on the left, as Ramsey slots in behind the frontman. Mathieu Flamini’s no-nonsense approach in the heart of midfield could well be the order of the day at Goodison, while Jack Wilshere will continue to retain his place in midfield.

However, Arsene Wenger in his pre-match press conference reminded that the German trio is yet to reach full fitness,

“I will check of course today and tomorrow to see if they will be available for selection. That is a target I fixed to them to prepare to be ready for selection against Everton. Will I use the three? Certainly not because they lack competition but they might be included for Saturday.”

Normally, you would think Mesut Ozil will either replace Santi Cazorla or Jack Wilshere in the lineup, but as it stands, Cazorla will continue down the left flank. Alexis Sanchez will play on the right of the attacking midfield trio as Alex Oxlade Chamberlain continues to wait for his chance in the first team. Sanchez has looked impressive in patches so far for the Gunners, and will be keen to make an impact at Goodison Park.

Striker:

Olivier Giroud is the obvious candidate to start tomorrow, despite one of his worst ever performances for Arsenal against Besiktas. Yaya Sanogo is carrying a thigh problem, and Wenger won’t risk young Joel Campbell against the Toffees. And Arsenal fans would be hoping for an improvement on his showing on Tuesday.
