Is It Possible To See A Less Arrogant Jose Mourinho At Manchester United? Here Is Why He Will Be A ‘Changed One’

After 3 disappointing seasons, Manchester United fans are finally looking forward to something new. This transfer window was filled with some exciting signing and big names coming to the club, all thanks to the new manager – Jose Mourinho.

The Portuguese manager is known for his attacking style and his great success in all the clubs he has managed in the past. Coming straight to United after spending 3 and a half seasons managing Chelsea makes him the perfect choice of manager since he is already in sync with the Premier League and the expectations from big clubs in the Premier League. After managing teams like Inter Milan, Porto, Real Madrid and Chelsea, Mourinho is naturally arrogant. However, we have been speculating his tenure at Manchester United will see a fall in his arrogance. Here is why:

1. Mourinho was sacked by Chelsea mid-season

After bringing home the Premier League trophy in 2014-15, Chelsea had a relatively bad season in 2015-16 which led to the sacking of their manager, Jose Mourinho. After being sacked by such a prestigious club and having had such a terrible season last year, Mourinho doesn’t have the authority to start off his term at United with an air of arrogance. We hope the events of the last year have made Mourinho tone down his arrogance a little.

2. United haven’t been doing well the last 3 seasons

Manchester United is still considered one of the biggest clubs in the world. However, we have to admit they haven’t had the greatest of seasons ever since Sir Alex Ferguson retired. They’ve got the players, they’ve got the fans, but for some reason, they haven’t been getting the results. Mourinho has been brought in to bring a different vibe to the club and help them get back to their winning days. He really can’t afford to be arrogant just yet.

Regardless of what we say and feel, however, Mourinho hasn’t let the events of the last year get to him and has portrayed himself as confident and charismatic in all his press appearances as Manchester United’s manager. So far, he seems calm and confident and is looking forward to the task at hand.
