Pochettino to make 2 changes – Predicted 4-2-3-1 Tottenham line-up to face Manchester City

Predicted Tottenham Line-up To Face Manchester City In The Premier League

Tottenham Hotspur welcome Champions-elect Manchester City to Wembley, hoping to capitalise on a terrible week for the Cityzens.

Spurs are on a great run in the league and are very close to confirming their place in the Champions League next season, while Manchester City were not able to secure the Premier League title against rivals Manchester United last weekend before crashing out of the Champions League against Liverpool in the quarter-finals.

Mauricio Pochettino will be hoping to heap more misery on the league leaders by avenging their 4-1 loss at the Etihad.

Probable Tottenham XI

Manager: Mauricio Pochettino

Formation: 4-2-3-1

GK – Hugo Lloris

After a disappointing couple of weeks, Lloris will look to bounce back against a side where he will face a lot of shots.

LB – Ben Davies

Although Danny Rose looked solid against Stoke, Ben Davis has taken it up a gear this year and will start for what is a crunch clash.

CB –  Jan Vertonghen

The experienced Belgian has been at the heart of the Spurs defence this season and is an important player for Pochettino.

Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen

CB – Davinson Sánchez

Has made a few mistakes in his debut Premier League season but has stepped up when Pochettino has needed him most.

RB – Serge Aurier

A feisty character who always puts in a shift for his team, Serge Aurier will be under a lot of pressure from the attacking talents of Manchester City.

DM – Eric Dier

With Victor Wanyama not having much football under his belt this season, it makes sense for Pochettino to bring in Dier, who can try and break up the Manchester City forward play.

CM – Mousa Dembélé

Mousa Dembele is probably the player in the Spurs squad who goes about his business with the least amount of fuss. He’s always comfortable on the ball and he will attempt to release his attackers.

RW – Christian Eriksen

Eriksen should start on the right-wing, but expect to see him pop up all over the pitch as a creative force.

Harry Kane

AM – Delle Alli

The talented attacking midfielder will attempt to provide support to Harry Kane and hassle the Manchester City defenders.

LW – Son Heung-Min

The South Korean international has dropped off a little bit in the last few games but has had an incredible season for the North Londoners.

ST – Harry Kane

As Harry Kane attempts to chase down Mo Salah at the top of the goalscoring charts, every goal counts.
