What If Pochettino Moves To Barcelona? Here Are 3 Realistic Replacements Tottenham Could Look At

Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly on the shortlist to replace Luis Enrique at Barcelona

Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino, is said to be on Barcelona’s wish list as the La Liga giants prepare for life without Luis Enrique. The Spanish coach is in his last year on his current contract and has stalled as per signing an extension beyond this summer.

Pochettino could be the one to replace to former Roma manager, and if that happens, here are 3 managers who can replace him at the White Hart Lane.

Alan Pardew

The erstwhile Crystal Palace manager might have had his fair share of controversies since his managerial career kicked off, but it can’t be denied the 2011-12 Premier League Manager of the Season is a fine tactician.

He might have also been relieved of his duties at the Selhurst Park, but not many managers would do better with those crop of players he had at his helm. Pardew lead Newcastle to a 5th place finish in the 2011-12 season, and he sure can do much more better with the current crop of talents in Tottenham.

The 55-year-old also guided Crystal Palace to their best ever Premier League finish in the 2014-15 season, with the club finishing in 10th place. The feat is unmatched given that no manager in history has ever taken over a Premier League club in the relegation zone and eventually guided them to a top half finish.

Pardew also have got an eye for quality signings, as he brought the likes of Sissoko, Demba Ba, Cabaye and Cisse to the Premier League.

Looks like a perfect fit for the job considering he has almost a decade of top-flight managerial experience.
