If away kits could win Premier League titles then Arsenal have this in the bag! After all the leaked images that were doing the rounds in the social network, Arsenal announced its official away kit for the season 2013/14 which saw them switch back to the traditional yellow color with a touch of invincibility to it.
The away kits were rightfully branded by the club’s British core Jenkinson, Wilshere, Walcott, Gibbs, OX and Ramsey. It is sure an honour for the youngsters to unveil the away kits and to be on the billboards around the stadium. And in particular, it has been such a meteoric rise for Jenkinson, from a Charlton hopeful, to a huge poster of him on the Emirates, only in two years. Goes to show, even in today’s money driven game, how important a tool pure passion is.
However, Arsenal faithful across London have raised their voice against this as the club have replaced the main billboard in front of the Emirates stadium which had club legends including the likes of Henry, Brady, Adams who carried the club on their shoulders.
Isn’t there any other place to put up a banner for the away kits? why cover those who have written their name in the clubs history wit h a bunch of kids?
Although, the reason British core sounds promising, this is ridiculous from the Arsenal board!
What do you guys think about this?
