Highly rated Arsenal scholar Stefan O’Connor has been awarded with his first professional contract at the Emirates following an impressive start to his U-21 career. O’Connor is highly-regarded as the future of Arsenal’s back line and given the fact that the defender has been allowed to train with the Gunner’ first team shows a lot about his potential.
The 17-year old youngster is also a part of the England youth side. Standing at 6 foot 4 inches, O’Connor could be the next big thing for the Gunners, who are currently suffering from major injury crisis at the back.
O’Connor is described by the official Arsenal website as “calm in possession and commanding in the air” and he has also played a part in the Uefa Youth League this season.
