Olivier Giroud and Santi Carzorla were pictured with Arsenal legend Robert Pires and Manchester United icon David Beckham as they were enjoying themselves and each other’s company at a charity event on Saturday evening.

The French striker rescued a late point for the Gunners and was seemingly happy with team-mate Santi Cazorla who missed the game due to a small injury worry. The Spaniard had picked up his niggle and had apparently aggravated his problem during the international break.

30-year-old Giroud now has three goals in his six substitute appearances this Premier League term and is looking to be Arsene Wenger’s “go-to man” off the bench. His latest coming against the Red Devils in the 89th minute and canceled out Juan Mata’s opener on a bitter clash on Saturday afternoon. The North London striker was the hero for his side, despite being on the receiving end of some heavy criticism.

Giroud has spent most of the season on the bench but was unsurprisingly happy after earning a fortunate, vital goal and point for his team. The joy could be seen as he was pictured with Cazorla and retired professionals, Pires and Beckham .

Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal are currently fourth in the league and still six points ahead of sixth place Manchester United in the title race.
