Arsenal star Lukas Podolski has always remained loyal to his former club FC Köln where he started his senior career. The German International used his day off to visit Köln as the club was preparing to host Borussia Mönchengladbach.
The match is considered to be one of the traditional and fiercest derbies in Bundesliga and yesterday’s game lived up to the expectation. Watch the video posted by Podolski on his Instagram account.
Podolski was accompanied by Borussia Dortmund and German star Kevin Großkreutz. There were various rumours about a possible move to Köln in the summer window, but Podolski chose to remain at the Emirates after having a chat with Arsene Wenger.
