We had previously reported on the news that injured Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud is ahead of his schedule after initial fears that he might be out till the start of next year. According to Wenger, who spoke to beIN Sports yesterday, updated that Giroud is well ahead of the scheduled return date following a successful operation to his broken foot.
‘Olivier Giroud is recovering very well,’ Wenger told beIN Sports. I believe he is ahead of schedule in terms of rehabilitation. The operation went perfectly.
‘Welbeck and [Giroud] can play together in the centre or separately.’
The latest pictures taken in Paris shows that the French International has almost recovered and is able to walk without the help of a walking aid.
