Arsenal’s summer target Sami Khedira’s arrival for a Nike promotional event sparks speculations about the already ongoing transfer saga between Real Madrid, Arsenal and Chelsea. The German midfielder was at England’s new luxury training complex at Burton and was involved in a special training session with the youngsters.
It is a joint effort made by the EA and sportswear giant Nike ‘where carefully selected young players come to work on their game in pursuit of a professional contract.’
Khedira, who has had a torrid summer with an injury that he suffered during the warm-up to the FIFA world cup, which his country won after 14 long years and subsequently an injury to his knee has further hampered his season with Real Madrid. However, he has been recovering fast and is all set to fight for his chances at Santiago Bernabeu.
After recently snubbing contract talks with Real Madrid, Khedira’s arrival has raised speculations as to whether he might have had talks with Arsenal or Chelsea regarding his future.
