You might have heard/come across Dani Alves’ little incident this week when Barcelona travelled to play against Villarreal. A section of the home fans, started racist chants against Barca right back Dani Alves and threw a banana on the pitch when Alves took a corner. However, the Brazilian reacted in a more civilized way and ate the banana which took everyone by surprise.
Ever since, footballing fraternity across the globe have joined hands in their fight against racism with several stars posting unique images in a wake to stand up against the crime.
