The German star has arrived on time for Saturday’s crunch fixture against Manchester United. He also snapped a selfie back on his flight as his Arsenal team gears up for a tough game at Old Trafford.
Ozil received a short break during the interlul after his impressive start to the current season as he has been immense for the north London side in the Premier League and Champions League.
The midfielder has netted seven times and racked up three assists in the Premier League this term and will be hoping to put on a commanding display in midfield to overcome the Manchester club. The former Real Madrid maestro will be playing against his former manager, which only adds more interest and intrigue to the showdown.
The club’s record signing is also set to pen down a new deal which will boost his confidence, however, Mourinho’s United will not be afraid to use their “Dark Arts” to get the better of their opposite number, with his stats against Arsene Wenger being respectably impressive.
Playing fluent football and getting results is something Wenger craves for and Ozil is probably the best playmaker in Europe that suits his philosophy. Beating the formidable Jose side will put Arsenal on top of the table temporarily, depending on results later that evening, which too will be on the mind of the gunners as a target.
