No we are not talking about the nationality contested start Diego Costa. It is Alexandre Pato the former AC Milan striker has been spotted at Stamford Bridge. He attended the game between Chelsea and Porto.

Earlier during the summer transfer season, it was reported that the Brazilian will be moving to Chelsea to add to Chelsea’s striking options. With the current strikers Diego Costa and Radamel Falcao struggling to pull the club up the table, spotting Alexandre Pato is definitely giving rise to various speculation regarding a transfer deal.

Pato currently plays for Sao Paolo on loan and a deal may be possible considering reports that the Brazilian outfit Corinthians are willing to offload the ex AC Milan striker. Pato has also expressed interest in returning back to Europe. With 26 goals last season, he seems to be in a good form and may actually help Chelsea.

A deal in January is possible if Corinthians offer Pato in a cut price deal to Chelsea. Chelsea’s interest however remains to be observed.
