Alex Teixeira has been on the radar of many clubs till date, Chelsea and Liverpool being the two clubs looking for the player very seriously.Teixeira’s recently made it public that he has informed Donetsk of his interest in leaving the club and this had put many clubs into alert.
Ukrainian Source Futbol Ukraine has reported that the Reds have agreed on personal terms with Teixeira with regards to his move to the Merseyside. Liverpool had plans to sign Teixeira before the end of the winter transfer window.
Although previously a £24.5million bid was rejected by Shaktar Donetsk, Futbol Ukraine reports that the terms have been agreed upon both the club and the player. The source Futbol Ukraine claims that they acquired the information from a source in the Shaktar’s Staff.
A creative forward, Teixeira has also attracted interest from Chelsea and Inter Milan. Currently, Liverpool has beaten both the clubs in their pursuit for the player.
