Pay €120m And Take The Player – Arsenal And City Target’s Club CEO Confirms

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang had an excellent form this season leading to the Gabon player impress every club who would see him play. While Manchester United and Arsenal are looking out for Aubameyang, Manchester City too has joined the race for the player.

According to French outlet Le10, Manchester City’s incoming manager Pep Guardiola has asked the City to secure a deal for Borussia Dortmund superstar Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

While Borussia Dortmund may be stiff on holding on to the player, seems like their resolve will be tested not just by Arsenal and Manchester United but also by Manchester City.

Earlier in the week, Hans-Joachim Watzke, Dortmund CEO, stated that it will take big bucks to start talks from Dortmund’s side for Aubameyang.

“If at any time an offer of €100m [£78m] or €120m [£95m] for Aubameyang comes to us, then we will discuss,” – Hans-Joachim Watzke.

In such a case, it seems like City will need a lot to sign the star striker for themselves.
