Chelsea had a terrible 2015-16 season, and as their new manager Antonio Conte will be coming to the Bridge, it is reported that he has set an eye on Fenerbahce’s defender Simon Kjaer.
Well, Chelsea do need a tough center back who can partner up with Cahill and occasionally with Zouma. According to TalkSport the Turkish side have told Chelsea, that they will need to pay at least £15m for the defender.
The Danish professional had a pretty good season with the Turkish side as he scored 2 goals and won 59% of his attempted tackles.
Kjaer still has three years remaining on his contract with Fenerbahce and the side is keen to keep hold of the 26-year-old for at least another year.
Paris Saint-Germain and Atletico Madrid have also expressed an interest in Kjaer but Chelsea are the clear favourites for the defender.
