Passing Accuracy Of 89% With 20 Goals: Why This Super German Is A Perfect Fit For Manchester United

During the Transfer Window period, where every club is linked with a player of huge potential, Manchester United has been a club linked with an uncountable number of players. One day it is Neymar, one day it’s Jam  es Rodriguez, one day it’s bale, but for quite a period of time one player has been constantly linked with several clubs.

Currently, It’s the story of Mario Gotze. The once most loved boy from Dortmund who went on a fairy-tale run until of course he joined Bayern Munchen. A player stricken with injuries or a player kept on the bench, it is looking like a frustrating period of time for Mario Gotze in Germany and a quick move to England or Spain might suit his cause.  He’s not happy at the club, and the club aren’t happy with him. When that’s the case it’s better all round to have a parting of the ways. Talent certainly isn’t the issue. Gotze had been lauded as one of the world’s top young forwards for years, and when he’s in form, he has the ability to take over matches and act as a one-man wrecking crew.

Recently though, only two clubs have stolen the headlines regarding Gotze. One is Arsenal and other is Manchester United. While both the clubs look like an unrealistic target for the player, Manchester United has emerged as favourites to wrap this deal up and bring the young starlet to England. We look at how Mario Gotze shall be perfect for United if played in the right position(s).

Why will Mario Gotze be the perfect player for Manchester United? :-

Gotze is a dynamic player who plays behind the striker and in the wide areas. His link-up play with Robert Lewandowski has been brilliant, and this has allowed him to notch up a number of assists and goals. He has also troubled the defenders across Europe with his pace and trickery and has created a lot of key passes in the final third. Along with his pace and strength, he is also deceptively strong for a player with a little frame.

Louis Van Gaal is insistent on playing Juan Mata to the right and Martial to the left. In this case, there is no real Central Attacking Midfielder whom United can rely on because even Herrera starts drifting away to play as a midfielder rather than running at defence and creating loads of problems. Gotze will be a key man here logically. He is a proven CAM who can deceive anyone with his gifted pace and his vision along with link up play that makes even the sleepiest of people to wake up. Old Trafford is deemed to have got bored with the lack of attack and Mario Gotze would enliven the place and create a flare here.

Tactically speaking, every aspect shouts approval at his imminent move that may as well be a crucial point in his career. Throughout his career with Bayern, Gotze has made 66 appearances and even without featuring in most of the current season his stats are bloody impressive.

An average passing accuracy of 89% with 20 goals scored and 83 chances created I doubt there are several youngsters like him who can put up such impressive performances in the game. His shooting accuracy might be just below 50% but his clinical nature if very renowned. He puts the balls away mostly in the bottom corners of the net. While goals of Gotze don’t show much, only one thing is clearly evident. A lovely playmaker, a player who is not even scared of running towards defences, a brilliant team player with breathtaking link-up play and vision, well who wouldn’t want Mario Gotze? Why wouldn’t United go for him?

Gotze as a CAM behind Rooney and beside Mata as well as Martial may form such a deadly partnership and it can take not only England but Europe on fire as well. In my opinion, United lack players like Gotze. Though the deal is highly realistic as of now, a move made by United with proper price may as well lure Gotze to England and there is every chance that this young startlet might become a united legend one day.
