Paris Saint Germain’s attacking midfielder Javier Pastore is being looked out for a potential transfer move by Chelsea. The player has also been linked with a potential move to Juventus, however, Chelsea may be sweeping in to sign the player as they prepare an initial bid of €30 million.
According to the Daily Star, Chelsea’s incoming manager Antonio Conte has set his sights on the Argentine and thus will be trying to sign him in the summer as a replacement for Oscar who is more ‘out of’ than ‘in the’ club post the summer transfers.
Further Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has put in his efforts to sign the player and has further insisted that Pastore would fit in the club due his offensive versatility.
While we may speculate which club wants Pastore more, one cannot ignore the fact that it will be tough for the clubs to tempt him to move away from PSG. With three more years for his contract to expire, Pastore may be up for a move only if there are additional incentives, more first team game time and exceptionally high offer involved in the contract.
