A couple of days back Mundo Deportivo, a Spanish sports publication reported that Nolito is in advanced talks with Arsenal. It was said that a fee was already agreed between the clubs and the personal terms were being discussed.
The in-form winger also is wanted by Barcelona and several newspapers also claimed that Barcelona will be bidding for the players signature once the transfer ban is lifted on them. With all these news and rumors flying around it had become increasingly difficult for readers to judge the truth in the noise.
The player has recently attended an interview with Marca, another Spanish magazine, and informed them that a move in January is unlikely. He said that he has heard nothing but newspaper reports about the move and no official communication were made from the clubs. Also, he happened to mention that he is looking forward to sign a new deal with Celta Vigo, his current club.
